Orange Show Quarter Midget Racing Association
Purpose: Club Meeting
Location: Orange Show Speedway
San Bernardino, CA
Bob Putnam called meeting to order at 12:31 p.m. and thanked everybody for a great year of racing.
Meeting was closed at 3:55 p.m.

Additional items that were discussed:
1. We amended by laws – Article 10 and added Articles 3 & 4 which was motioned by Mr. Ganino and second by Mrs. Attridge and was voted by the club unanimous that before you can vote at the membership meeting all your QMA and Club dues and fees must be paid for the upcoming year to participate in all the Voting purposes. Your Home Club must be OSQMRA to participate in any Club voting.
2. Everyone joining OSQMRA received a Welcome Package with a lot of important Racing Information.
3. We were told we should hear when we can start constructing our New Track by the end of this month.
2008 Schedule:
We will have 9 Club Races, with 2 throw outs.
2 of the Club Races will be 2 day Races (Fallen Police Officer Memorial Race & the Kara Hendrick's Memorial Race)
We have 3 Invitational Races (Ernie Bose, Region 11 Race, Monza Race)
There are 9 Scheduled Travel Races (Region 11 Races, Monza Series, Region 11 Invitational Races, Grands, Winter Nationals).
Total for 2008 = 21 Races
4. Perpetual Trophies will be given again and all Novices will receive trophies at each race (thanks to the Carlson, Cornell, & Van Veldhuizen Families that offered to donate to cover the cost of the Novice Trophies)
5. Cash Flow Sheet handed out at meeting.
6. Starting our new race year 2008, there will be a Main Event Race Prayer at every race this year. Mr. Shraeder motioned and Mark Williams second.
7. The club unanimously voted that we will have logo stickers this year. They will be on sale for $1.00. When we have guests at the track, they will be given one.
8. The Banquet will be at the Orange Show Fairgrounds again in November.
9. New Rules for all Practices (Starting now). A Board Member must attend. There has to be a minimum of 5 Families for the practice to be held. You must pay $25 before your car can be put on the track. You can go up on our website and make a reservation for practice, there is a practice reservation tab on the website.
10. The Club heard and Voted on 43 RCP’s.
